Prof. Yehuda Kollender i
s a highly experienced orthopedic oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors in both adults and children. His clinical expertise includes limb-sparing surgery and the multidisciplinary management of complex musculoskeletal tumors.
Prof. Kollender previously headed the National Orthopedic Oncology Department at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) until 2020 and currently serves as Director of the Orthopedic Oncology Unit at Barzilai Medical Center.
He graduated from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology in Washington, D.C. (1993–1995). He is Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
Throughout his career, Prof. Kollender has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has presented his work at numerous national and international medical conferences.
