Lutetium 177 treatment
It is a form of radionuclide therapy, which involves the use of radioactive substances to treat cancer. Lutetium 177 therapy is intended for patients with advanced prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, such as the bones. Advantages

The molecule travels through the bloodstream and accumulates in the prostate cancer cells, where the Lutetium 177 emits beta particles that kill the cancer cells.
Like any form of cancer treatment, Lutetium 177 therapy does have potential side effects. These can include fatigue, nausea, and decreased blood cell counts. However, these side effects are usually mild and temporary.
