Since 2007, Professor Nissan has performed HIPEC surgeries to remove tumors from the abdominal cavity and flood the abdomen with heated chemotherapy.

To the date, Professor Nissan and his team have performed hundreds of CRS+HIPEC procedures in Israel and many model surgeries throughout the world, and have taught this technique to surgical teams as part of the Sheba Peritoneal Surface Oncology School.ֲ Publicationsֲ Professor Aviram Nissan has published more than 150 scientific papers and book chapters.
